I’m Rachael Goettemoeller, and alongside my husband Chris, we're thrilled to bring you exceptionally raised beef directly from our regenerative family farm in the heart of Frenchtown, Ohio – a place where you can still hear the church bells ring throughout the day.
Our story is deeply rooted in family and a passion for responsible agriculture. Chris and I are the third generation to call this cherished homestead our home. The Goettemoeller family have been dedicated cattle ranchers for four generations; a proud legacy that stretches back to 1958.
For us, this isn't just a business; it's a way of life and a commitment to continuing a proud family tradition. Our children, Leon (4) and Gianna (3), are already little farm enthusiasts – Gianna with her beloved farm cats and Leon, often found barefoot in the flowerbeds with his toy tractors on any day over 50 degrees!
At Homestead Beef, our mission is simple: to provide your family with high-quality, flavorful Angus beef raised with integrity. We believe that the best beef comes from cattle raised outside and in nature. Our cattle are grass-raised and grain-finished, always hormone and antibiotic-free.
We are proud to be a regenerative farm. Through practices like rotational grazing, we’re not just sustaining the land; we're actively working to restore and enhance its health. This helps build fertile soil, increase biodiversity, improve water retention, and sequester carbon, resulting in healthier cattle and a more resilient farm that benefits us all.
